BAI Employees' Association Gains CSC Accreditation

The Bureau of Animal Industry Employees’ Association (BAIEA), led by BAIEA President Dr. Nover Lee Calub, has officially been accredited by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) today, May 5, 2025. CSC Field Director Claudia Tan presented the certificate of accreditation in a ceremony held at the BAI Compound in Quezon City. This marks a significant achievement for the agency’s workforce.

With CSC accreditation, BAIEA is now empowered to negotiate a Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) with management. This paves the way for potential improvements in compensation, benefits and working conditions. The recognition also strengthens employee-management relations by providing a formal platform for grievance resolution and access to welfare and support programs.
