In line with the Kadiwa Cold Chain Project (KCCP), the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI)-Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Section Chief Mr. Felipe Reolalas, in coordination with City Veterinary Department-Food Hygiene and Regulatory Division Chief Dr. Henry Barbero, spearheaded the distribution of 18 freezers (six 15-cubic feet freezers and twelve 18-cubic feet freezers) to market vendors on November 16, 2022 at the Nepa Q Mart, Quezon City.
KCCP aims to modernize the refrigeration system in wet markets by providing freezers for the proper storage, handling, distribution, and availability of safe meat products. ###
