BAI conducts BTSF Workshop

BAI Director Dr. Paul C. Limson reiterated the importance of the workshop in further advancing the Philippines' knowledge on animal health and improve our capacity to quickly response to the introduction and spread of any transboundary animal diseases.

“With this, we will be better equipped in handling and mitigating the spread of deadly transboundary animal diseases. We are truly fortunate that the EU is willing to share their knowledge and experiences in establishing disease surveillance and control programs.” He said.

The BTSF workshop aims to enhance the capacity of participants on animal disease preparedness to protect against the introduction and spread of specific animal diseases. It also aims to provide a platform for participating countries to exchange thoughts and experiences on animal health and dealing with animal disease outbreaks. ###
