BAI Conducts 2019 R&D In-House Review

To further enhance the quality of researches produced by the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), its Livestock Research and Development Division (LRDD) spearheaded the 2019 BAI R&D In-House Review on July 17 to 19, 2019 at the Oracle Hotel, Loyola Heights, Quezon City. The annual activity showcased completed and on-going research papers, and proposals by BAI researchers, as well as papers from BAI-funded projects downloaded to different State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) across the country.

Indeed, the activity served as venue for researchers to have their papers reviewed by the invited panel of evaluators with various experiences in the field of animal science and veterinary medicine. Among the experts invited to share their comments and suggestions were as follows: Dr. Ronilo De Castro and Dr. Synan Baguio from Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD); Dr. Amado Angeles and Dr. Rommel Sulabo of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB); Dr. Virginia Venturina from Central Luzon State University (CLSU); and Mariedel Autriz of Cavite State University (CvSU).
